Cory Pass Lake Louise/Victoria Glacier Athabasca Glacier Miscellaneous

We saw this rainbow through the rain while driving to our first hike at Cory Pass.	Some elk feeding by the roadside.	Overlooking Bow Valley as we begin our hike up Cory Pass (supposedly one of the most strenuous hikes in Banff). That's Mt. Rundle (the slant topped mountain in the upper left corner).
Maureen walks along the trail as it cuts across a steep rockslide.	View from the top of Cory Pass - Mt. Rundle is the slant topped mountain in the background on the left. This climb has a 3218 foot elevation gain to the top - 7777 feet above sea level - whew!
