Orlando Christmas: Central Florida Zoo & Cirque Show - Day 7

We spent the morning at the Central
Florida Zoo. A lot of the animals were busy eating. It was neat watching the
giraffe slurp up the lettuce leaves with his huge tongue!
Although we’ve
been to zoos before, this is the first time we ever saw a warthog!
The Zoo was setup for their Aisan Lantern Festival night
light display, but that required separate admission and tickets were all sold
out for the week that we were in Orlando.
Golf
We
picked up Matthew after lunch and headed to the Stoneybrook West golf course.
The men played a 9 hole game of best ball due to the
wide range of golfing capabilities while the women watched and provided
encouragement.
With
no players behind us on the last hole, Maureen even got to try a tee off shot. Of course after the final tally, Wei-Shen was the overall winner
– not only did he have the best score, but he also had the longest drive, the
longest putt, and the most best ball shots.
After a dinner
of Christmas potluck leftovers at the condo, the three of us took a short walk
for dessert to Wei-Shen’s favorite spot – Jerimiah’s Italian Ice.
