North Cascades is one of the least developed National Parks, with range after range of mountains extending as far as the eye can see.

See the trail winding its way back down over the knob on the right?

Descending Sahale Arm Trail with a view of Sahale Peak in the background - our hike terminated just below the glacier on the first knob on the left.

Many people end their hike after 3.5 miles at Cascade Pass (at the bottom of the valley in the above photo) - it is another 2.5 miles along a much steeper trail to reach the stunning views from the top of Sahale Arm.
