Our first view of majestic Mt. Rainier was from the Nisqually Vista Trail near the Jackson Visitor Center.

The Paradise Overlook provided an opportunity to set the camera in auto mode for a rare shot of the two of us.

The Skyline Loop Trail, adorned with wildflowers, offered magnificent views of Mt. Rainier - the tallest peak in the Pacific Northwest.

Wildflowers in the foreground with the Tatoosh Range in the background was a photographer's delight along the Skyline Loop Trail on the way to Panorama Point.

The Nisqually Glacier Vista along the Skyline Loop Trail provided an up close view of just 1 of the 26 major glaciers on Mt. Rainier.

The volcanic peaks of Mt. Adams, Mt. Hood, and Mt. St. Helens could be seen in the distance from left to right at Panorama Point.

Abundant wildflowers, flowing creeks, and expansive views created a peaceful setting as the Skyline Loop Trail wound its way down from Panorama Point.

The parks many trails offered views of Mt. Rainier from every angle - this one was from the Sourdough Ridge Trail near the Sunrise Visitor Center.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the view of Mt. Rainier before it disappears into the clouds!
