Provincetown

This quaint little town at the tip of the Cape is home to the Pilgrim's Monument which commemorates where the pilgrims first landed before deciding that it was unsuitable for a colony and subsequently moving on to Plymouth. Climbing the staircase to the top of the monument provided good views of the surrounding area.

Lots of small craft shops in this Provincetown market.

We walked out part way on a mile long breakwater that connects Provincetown to the tip of the Cape. The water was crystal clear with several fishermen trying their luck.

Li is a happy as a lark on Racepoint Beach.

Larry the Lobster served as our trip souvenir.
